History of Palestine
The history of Palestine has been silenced by both the Zionist master discourse and the broader western orientalist history of Palestine. The Zionist master discourse transformed an ancient religious biblical tie into the basis for European settlers to substantiate a purported “return” and establish an exclusive claim to the territory of Palestine, colonising over the indigenous past. While, western orientalist’s continued ongoing search for Christianity’s Judaic past focuses exclusively on the tracing of ancient Biblical history in Palestine silencing the history of the indigenous people.
